Standard specification for hospital bed setting

According to the Letter on Soliciting Opinions on the Construction Standards for General Hospitals (Revised Draft for Comments) issued by the National Health Commission, the number of beds in general hospitals will be divided into 6 levels: 200 beds or less, 200-399 beds, 400-599 beds, 600-899 beds, 900-1199 beds, 1200-1500 beds and above. In addition, the construction scale of the general hospital should be determined after a comprehensive balance according to the local urban master plan, regional health planning, medical institution setting planning, the number of people served, the level of economic development, the spectrum and incidence of diseases, health resources and the demand for health care services. In determining the standard specification of hospital bed setting, the relevant national standards, norms, quotas and indicators should be observed.
